When was the last time you bought something because it was so cheap?

Everyone knows how dangerous the $1 section at Target can be for themselves or their significant others.

Good deals are hard to come by, but any deal (or the illusion of a deal) is better than no deal at all.

If your business isn't running offers or deals on a regular basis, you're probably having a hard time getting new clients consistently.

We're not only talking about low-ball offers here; this includes offers that give real value to your customers and make it so difficult to refuse that they buy it anyway despite the price.

You probably think that it's easier said than done, and with anything in business, you're going to have to figure out the perfect offer to drive sales through experimentation. You won't have a successful offer overnight unless you're lucky enough to pick the best offer the first time around.

We've collected a few of the most successful offer examples in various industries to help give you an idea of what might work for your business!

  1. Amazon's Cyber Monday Alexa Deals

A classic offer you can do is to offer a gift card for a very small amount depending on the price of another purchase from your business. Giving a free “gift” is a great way to drive more people to do business with you because we all know that if you're shopping for something on Amazon, you are most likely going to spend well over $10 to get something. So doing something like this will almost always have a good return on investment.

  1. Chick-fil-a's App & Rewards

Creating an app is a great way to redeem rewards for loyal customers who come back time and time again. Chick-fil-a does such as a great job with this because they give the customer more of what they want and drive more sales because there is a goal you have to achieve to get a reward.

To drive more app downloads, Chick-fil-a also gave away one free treat to every person that downloaded, too!

  1. Car Wash Promotional Event Offer

Using an event or sponsorship to promote your business is another way to deliver an offer. Jackson's Car Wash created an offer based off Spring Training ticket stubs that allowed game-goers to bring their ticket stubs in to receive a free car wash or dollars off other services.

This allows the business to stay relevant, while also bringing new customers to their business to hopefully become repeat customers in the long run.

  1. Buy 2, Get 1 Free Botox Offer

A good deal looks something like this! Having the customer purchase two services and receiving a third one free is the perfect way to see a sales boost. Botox is a very popular product today, which means the price is exceptionally high. A good deal like this one drove an increase in sales because it added serious value to an already popular service.

Now that you've seen some offers, it's time to create one of your own! It's important to have your marketing strategy in place and not just an offer hanging out in the wind. Offers are the last step in getting your customer to do business with you, so it's necessary to have a few steps in between to make your new prospects aware of what you do and to give them something to evaluate your business on!

Offers are usually the first stepping stone to upselling into more expensive products or services. A good offer drives sales and makes up the difference of any loss you expect to encounter by offering a discount or coupon.
